K3-8 Instructional Coach/Middle School Learning Resource Teacher – St John Vianney

Responsibilities for K3-8 Instructional Coach include: 1) provide academic support/coaching to teachers, 2) lead continuous improvement and professional development efforts, 3) understands the essentials of a rigorous Pre K-8 instructional program to prepare students for success in a college prep secondary school 4) collaborate with administration and staff in development, delivery and continuous refinement of the St John Vianney educational program

Responsibilities for Middle School Learning Resource Teacher include: 1) providing tier II and tier III interventions to identified students, 2) managing progress testing throughout the year, 3) screening incoming students, 4) collaborate with staff to create and manage student accommodation plans, 5) collaborate with staff to plan RtI small groups in Reading and Math on a six week cycle (based on MAPs data) Mission Leadership and Faith Community:

Understands, represents, commits to, and implements the mission, vision, and values of St John Vianney Catholic School. Active Catholic able to participate in the sacramental life of the Church. Academic Outcomes Support: Assists administration in implementing strategies to meet improvement goals related to increasing student achievement/success. Analyzes student assessment data to understand and improve indicators of student success, and to guide instructional dialogue and decision making.

K3 Teacher – Early Childhood – 60% Part Time

We are seeking a faith filled, motivated Early Childhood teacher to teach our 3 year old kindergarten students three days/weekly (60%). This dynamic individual should be dedicated to assisting parents in the development of each child’s God-given potential through the implementation of best practices, experienced in WMELS, able to support the various needs of 3 year olds in a play-based, exploratory learning environment. The candidate should be well-versed in WMELS, and comfortable using technology as a means of communication and instruction. Supporting the mission and objectives of St. John Vianney and providing instruction within a positive, supportive, and faith-filled environment are also necessary criteria

After Care Coordinator (Part Time)

We are seeking a faith filled, motivated After Care Coordinator. This dynamic individual should be dedicated to the following responsibilities:

  • Supervising students in after care school activities from 2:50pm to 5:45pm
  • Supervising snack time and recreation time with students
  • Supporting students in homework or other enrichment activities
  • Communicating clearly and timely with school families
  • Collaborating with a team to serve our students and families
  • Attending meetings as required

Recess Supervisor – 2 positions

This dynamic individual should be dedicated to the following responsibilities:

Guiding and Supporting students during recess
Leading our students in a prayer at the conclusion of recess 
Working on all days that school is in session from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (primary) or from 12:30pm-1:00pm (intermediate)
Supporting students in our Virtue culture during recess
Collaborating with main office by walkie communication to support students
Assisting students with any needs during recess

Hired personnel will participate in a mandatory Recess Supervisor Training session to cover recess expectations and safety protocols

Lunch Room Assistant

This dynamic individual should be dedicated to the following responsibilities:

  • Guiding and Supporting students during lunch time
  • Leading our students in a prayer of blessing 
  • Working on all days that school is in session from 11:00am to 1:00pm
  • Developing and managing lunch room protocols
  • Collaborating with food service personnel to ensure an enjoyable lunch experience for all students
  • Set up and tear down of lunch room, including table washing, floor sweeping, and setting up/putting away tables.
  • Assisting students with any needs during the lunch period

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Faith filled, comfortable praying with children
  • Enjoys working with school aged children, K3-8th grade
  • Finds satisfaction in making the lunch experience a joyful, safe, and caring experience for all children

Part Time (60%) General Music Teacher – K3-8th gd

The ideal candidate is engaging and able to provide innovative instruction to students of various learning abilities and styles, and has knowledge of the CMP philosophy as well as an understanding of the WI Model Academic Standards for Music.  Supporting the mission and objectives of Saint John Vianney and providing instruction within a positive, supportive, and faith-filled environment are also necessary criteria.

St. John Vianney Catholic School, a K3-8th grade school with approximately 270 students, has an opening for a licensed part time (60%) general music teacher to inspire K3-8th grade students in music appreciation and performance.  St. John Vianney is located in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
