Middle School Teacher

This dynamic individual should be dedicated to assisting parents in the development of each child’s God-given potential through the implementation of best practices, experienced in state standards, able to provide differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners and provide quality feedback on student progress. The right candidate will be passionate about collaborating with a middle school team in creating a high-energy, motivating, respectful, and academically challenging middle school atmosphere. This person will support our school-wide culture of Virtue Based Restorative Discipleship and will be committed to implementing Standards Based Learning & Grading for our students. The candidate should be well-versed in the use of technology as a means of communication and instruction. Achieving academic excellence requires that the St. John Vianney Principal work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff and to communicate effectively with parents and students. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, faith formation development, liturgical celebrations for the school, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures and facility operations.
The SJV Principal is expected to bring the energy, charisma, vision, and leadership skills necessary for this school community to deliver its respected Catholic educational program successfully.
