Bear Scouts

Much of the Bear work is done at home by the Scouts. While requirements are incorporated into den meetings, many of the tasks required for the badge should be completed at home with a parent or other leader. Suggested dates for completion are noted above to ensure Scouts receive rank advancing badges by the end of the scouting year.
Scouts are encouraged to work ahead. Badges can be earned any time during the year.
Scouts also earn arrow points by completing electives. These are located at the end of the Bear handbook. A gold arrow point is awarded for the first 10 electives. A silver arrow point is awarded for each additional 10 tasks completed.
