Mrs. Tanya Baynes

• B.M.E.– Music Education—Nebraska Wesleyan University

Mrs. Baynes taught general music for six years in Catholic Schools before choosing to stay home to raise our kids. She has a sixth-grader, eighth-grader and two high schoolers, both graduates of SJV. She taught as a volunteer for one year in the parish K3 program, was a long-term substitute in K4 2021 and served as playground supervisor for the past six years. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to help provide a safe environment for the kids while at recess, to watch them grow and to strengthen the positive culture that is here at SJV. She also enjoys volunteering with Cub Scouts, as SCRIP Committee Chair and as a cantor during weekend liturgies.

Personal Goals: To provide a safe environment during lunch recess, where students can play and grow in friendships with one another, knowing that they are cared for.
