Mr. Paukner brings over 20 years of experience and a passion to help aspiring young musicians through their instrumental music journey. He truly values SJV’s model of offering students a weekly individual lesson; it is the way he has been teaching students for more than a decade in his previous positions.
Mr. Paukner's own musical journey developed from years of grade school church choir and piano lessons. Practicing the piano was replaced with practicing the tuba when he wanted to join the band in 6th grade in the New Berlin School District. As his primary instrument, he continues to play the tuba in both a brass quintet and a British-style brass band. In addition to splitting his teaching week between SJV and St. Paul’s-Oconomowoc, he is on the high school girl's volleyball coaching staff of Lake Country Lutheran High School in the fall.
He and his wife, LaBree, reside in New Berlin with their two sons, Elliott (7 yrs old) and Emmett (4 yrs old).
Personal Goals: Mr. Paukner looks forward to working with each child’s God-given talents to nurture their growth and encourage them to undertake more and more challenging goals and repertoire.
