I am Halligan Czarnecki and I have been a member of St. John Vianney for 16 years. I am a mother of five and all of my children have attended SJV. I graduated from Clarke College with a BA in Elementary Education. After college I spent two years in Quito, Ecuador at a Jesuit mission founded by Fr. John Halligan SJ and where my aunt served as a B.V.M. nun. When I returned to the US, I taught First grade and K5 at Milwaukee Spanish Immersion School for 4 years, before staying home with my children to be a full-time mom. I went back into the classroom several years ago as a part of SJV’s K3 parish program. Today I serve as part of the school’s hot lunch program and as an occasional substitute in the classroom or wherever my help is needed most.
