    Holy Days of Obligation

Please note that Mass times are subject to change especially during Holy Days of Obligation. Attendance at a Holy Day of Obligation does NOT fulfill one’s obligation to weekly Sunday Mass.

In 2022, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God falls on a Saturday and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on a Monday so they are not considered Holy Days of Obligation in the United States.

In addition to Sunday, the days to be observed as holy days of obligation according to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee:

    • Thursday, May 26, 2022 – Ascension of the Lord
    • Tuesday, November 1, 2022 – All Saints Day
    • Thursday, December 8, 2022 – Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
    • Sunday, December 25, 2022 – The Nativity of the Lord (Christmas)

For more information please visit the Milwaukee Archdiocese’s webpage on Holy Days of Obligation.
