The worldwide public health storm begun by the coronavirus pandemic has changed all of our lives in ways unimaginable just a few months ago. Like you – we are looking forward to the time when things get back to normal. Our Family Formation team has been hard at work to make sure that there will be a smooth transition to our Fall program.
In the meantime, our priority is to ensure that our parish children continue to know, love, and serve God. I will keep you in my prayers as you and your family stay the course in the current storm.
It’s in times like these that I’m reminded of Paul’s wonderful prophecy in Acts 27: “. . . and behold, for your sake, God has granted safety to all who are sailing with you.” May God bless you all.

Enjoy the memories of this past year!
“My dear families, I’ve been teaching Christian formation for 12 years. My husband Tim and I have 3 children: Bob, Stephanie and Patrick. During this pandemic, the Serenity Prayer has helped me, along with zoom calls with my family and friends, game nights and walks with our dog, Mango. It is a blessing to be your child’s catechist and I look forward to sharing our Catholic faith. Be safe ”
Linda Kolb, SJV Catechist
“I’ve been a St John Vianney parishioner for the past 12 years. I’ve always wanted to serve the church. I have been teaching Family Formation for 5 years. Teaching the kids at class and spreading the word of Christ gives me lots of happiness. I love listening to the questions kids have to ask and it helps me grow in my faith. ”
Jacqueline Tharakan, SJV Catechist
