Support Groups

No matter where you are in life, there is help and support for you. Some groups ask to be privately listed in our calendars. These groups help individuals and families overcome a variety of addiction issues. If you don’t see a group listed, please give us a call. Or you may search online for the groups websites for meeting times and locations.

• Caregivers

  Are you currently an active caregiver or researching caregiving options for a loved one? The Caregiver Support Group is a welcoming group of men and women who have experienced caregiving through every stage and for many illnesses. They meet to encourage and support fellow parish members who are now going through this life change.

• Childbirth: Pregnancy, Infertility or Loss of a Child

  We offer support to families in special times of parenthood from the joys, trials and sorrows of the childbearing years and beyond.

• Divorce

  We offer support for those in the process of divorce and beyond. Single Again is a quad-parish support group for those in the process of divorce and beyond. It is open to men and women from any parish or none, does not require registration, and is free.

• Grace Within

  The Grace Within group:

  • Gathers women together to form a network of mutual spiritual support
  • Provides group experience of learning, praying and ministering to each other
  • Introduces women to opportunities for personal and spiritual growth in a faith-sharing group
  • Increases communication skills and the use of prayer rituals in the home

  The Grace Within program is especially helpful for stay-at-home or working moms with newborns, toddlers, and / or pre-schoolers.

• Grief

  Have you recently lost someone dear? We don’t want you to grieve alone. Contact the Christian Formation office for information on current Grief Support groups and programs.

• Veterans

  Are you a veteran? A special table is reserved just for you monthly at the Parish Social. Come and meet fellow SJV Veterans and share experiences of your time in service. Spouses, children, friends and loved ones are welcome to listen and join in too.
