We, the people of St. John Vianney, provide a meal to St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program on the third Tuesday of every month. The program serves 150-200 people.
The meal we serve consists of a chicken and rice casserole, vegetable, cranberries, fruit, milk, bread and homemade dessert. Each family or person provides one of these food items by purchasing or preparing it at home and delivering it to SJV’s parish kitchen between 3:15 – 4pm on the third Tuesday.
Contact Dick Fedler, SVdP Meal Program Coordinator (262) 814-0288 for more information or to volunteer to help.
Servers / Drivers
Parish members are invited to help serve and/or be a driver each month to deliver the food.
Servers need to be at the SVDP Resource Center by 5pm. Drivers need to be at St. John Vianney’s kitchen by 4pm to load the food and deliver to the Resource Center. At the Resource Center, drivers will assist with serving and perhaps enjoy a meal. The meal and clean up are finished by 6:30pm.
