There are many ways to respond to God’s great love for us. We can see the response to God’s love and presence in some by their commitment to liturgical participation; by others in their financial contributions to support the Parish, Archdiocese and outreach programs; and yet by others in their service via the large number of ministry opportunities available at Saint John Vianney.
Over 100 ministries are available to parish members. These opportunities for service form the core of our parish, whether reaching out to those in need, assisting in prayer and worship, serving as a guide for lifelong Christian formation or education, or leading as a standing committee member or similar role. There is a place for every parishioner — young and old. Which ministry or ministries is calling you? Our prayer is that you consider how you can help, as there is always room for more participants across all ministries.
To those who already are active in ministry, please accept a large measure of thanks. Your contributions of your time and talent provide a wonderful example of responding to God’s love and making stewardship a way of life. Finally, we also offer the services of the parish LINK office, staffed by volunteers, to match parishioners with ministries and ministry needs.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us as we lovingly respond to God’s call to stewardship.
