Li’l SWEAT 2013

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Teens entering grades 7, 8 and 9 are invited to participate in a one-day retreat of service, social and spiritual enrichment, called Li’l SWEAT, that is, “Something Worthy of Energy, Attention and Time.”

What you can expect from Saint John Vianney’s Li’l SWEAT experience:

  • Service  Participants engage in an Urban Plunge service retreat with direct service to the hungry and homeless.
  • Social  Partipants enjoy building healthy and fun friendships through organized activities, and games and discussions.
  • Spiritual  Participants explore the connections between service, relationships, spirituality and community.

The Li’l SWEAT program partners with the Casa Romero Renewal Center for Families, Spirituality and Justice (www.casaromerocenter.org).
