Come join fellow parish members to praise God in song, use your talents for God’s glory, and have fun. Each choir forms a community that sings, prays and plays together. Laudate Choir
Rehearsals on Thursday afternoons, 2:45 pm– 4:00 pm, for children in grades K5 through 3. First rehearsals generally begin in September.
Gaudete Choir
Rehearsals on Wednesday afternoons, 2:45 pm – 4:00 pm, for children in grades 4 through 6. First rehearsal generally begin in September. There are no auditions for this group, and previous experience in children’s choir is not required.
Parish Choir
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:00 pm in the Presentation Hall from September – May. A variety of music is sung from songs with the assembly to choral masterworks.
Handbells
The Handbell Choir is a newly-established ensemble that will become a part of the music ministry here at Saint John Vianney. It consists of 11 auditioned ringers who will ring on a regular basis as part of our Sunday liturgies, major feasts and special occasions. They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm From September through May.
Funeral Choir
Members of this choir sing at Funeral Masses. They are contacted when a funeral is scheduled and come to sing if they are available. Members arrive 15–30 minutes before the start of Mass to gather their music.
Contemporary Ensemble
Instrumentalists and Vocalists are invited to assist at the 5:00 pm Mass. This group is open to high school aged parishioners and adults with musical skills.
