Adult and Family Christian Formation

All adults are encouraged to continue their Christian Formation by either taking the first steps towards becoming Catholic, or continuing their studies to deepen their Catholic Faith. A variety of programs are offered for every stage of life. We welcome you to be a part of Adult and Family Ministry at Saint John Vianney.

  • Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults & Children (RCIA)

The decision to become Catholic is not one to be made lightly—or apart from community. So the Church provides a process known as RCIA—the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, to help people to learn more about what we believe and practice as Catholics, to discern their call, and to become fully initiated if they so desire. Saint John Vianney Parish welcomes adults into the community through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program. The faith community of Saint John Vianney encourages adults to join the Catholic faith.
