More than ever, we need energetic, faith-filled members who are committed to bringing new ideas and change to better serve our parishioners. This is an exciting time to join a committee as we work with our new pastor and use our parish-wide survey results for planning. Committees meet a minimum of six times a year and carry out objectives set in collaboration with the Pastoral Council or Finance Council.

Mission: Support and create opportunities for lifelong faith formation aimed at personal conversion and growth in faith. Committee members collaborate with the pastor and staff on:
1. Christian Formation program
2. Formation opportunities for all parishioners
3. Evangelization programming
Responsibilities:
• Family Formation advisory group
• Catechist support
• Bible study and other faith formation opportunities
• Small group leadership
• Young adult socials and programming
• Bi-annual Parish Mission
Mission: Discerns and responds to the needs of persons in the parish, the wider community, and the world by identifying resources to meet their needs and enlisting the active cooperation of parishioners. Committee members collaborate with the pastor, staff, and other organizations and agencies in:
1. Service
2. Advocacy
3. Justice
4. Education
5. Empowerment of people
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for our current Human Concerns Ministries
• Assess new ideas for ministries and outreach
• Support and encourage parish engagement of Matthew 25:35 ministries
• Advocate for Catholic Social Teaching values
Mission: Promotes and develops Catholic elementary and secondary education. Committee members provide advice to the pastor and principal regarding:
1. Advancement of the School through marketing and development
2. Long range planning
3. Policy development
4. School finances and budget management
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate marketing and recruitment
• Host annual Open House and monthly school-sponsored Mass
• Secure grants for School resources
• Advise school leadership
Mission: Educates and nurtures the gifts of all parishioners and the responsibility of disciples to steward all resources. Committee members collaborate with the pastor and staff to develop strategies and practices which invite all parishioners and the parish organization itself to share time, talent, and treasure, such as:
1. New parishioner onboarding program
2. Volunteer sign-up opportunities
3. Programs to bring parishioners together
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate new parishioner program
• Support planned giving efforts
• Organize parish leadership fair and volunteers
• Sponsor Life Stages speaker series
Mission: Nourishes and gives direction to the liturgical and communal prayer life of the community. Committee members collaborate with the pastor and staff on:
1. Liturgy preparation
2. Training and formation of liturgical ministers
3. Formation of parishioners on sacraments and liturgy.
Responsibilities:
• Support parishioner prayer and spirituality opportunities (Stations of the Cross, monthly devotions)
• Train and form liturgical ministers
• Environment – plan and change liturgical season décor in the church and narthex
Mission: Fosters individual development in character, respect, team play, leadership, and sportsmanship consistent with our Christian faith while developing physical skills. Committee members collaborate with the pastor and staff to manage:
1. Athletic policy
2. Coach recruitment
3. Gym supervision and support
4. Athletic programs (volleyball, cross country, basketball, track)
