Dear SJV Friends,
Welcome to St. John Vianney Catholic School! I feel blessed and privileged to be a part of this wonderful school community, serving you as Principal. I come to this role as a 37 year Catholic Educator, having spent 31 years as a classroom teacher and 7 years in leadership roles. I consider my career a true vocation where I can share my Catholic faith, love of God, and love of learning while instilling a commitment to high academic standards.
St. John Vianney School offers rigorous and innovative academics, as well as spiritual growth, centered on our Catholic faith and Gospel values. We have a talented and dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to meeting the needs of all students, holding them to high standards, helping them to achieve academic excellence, and guiding our students in their faith formation while building a lifelong relationship with God in thoughts, words, and actions. We are proud of the fact that we help each student walk the path of living out a virtuous life. We call this the SJV Way!
St. John Vianney is a vibrant parish where all believe in the mission of our school and support our school in limitless ways. The parish staff, parish committees, and our dedicated parent committees work in unison to support our school. This partnership solidifies our reputation as one of the finest Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
As principal, I look forward to sharing my passion for, and commitment to, SJV’s mission of developing the whole child. My goal is also to continue to bring our school community together, offer warmth and approachability, share our successes, and build on the strengths of SJV to continue our school’s momentum into the future. I look forward to working closely with students, our amazing teachers and staff, as well as parents, to create a nurturing environment that promotes our children’s faith and academic growth so that each child entrusted to our care reaches their God given potential. I am humbled to have the trust of parents and this school community to be a part of this important and transformational work.
It is with a grateful heart that I look forward to a wonderful year. May God continue to bless your family and our SJV community.
With Gratitude,
Kathy Davis
Principal
